Features include a cavernous main compartment, front-panel access, and a separate sleeping bag pocket. The Lakota's suspension provides a custom fit for outstanding comfort. This feature rich pack has everything you need for a comfortable night or nights in the backcountry. Your gear stays organized with the large front pocket, map pocket, hip belt pocket, and large pocket in the hood of the pack. It's easy to get your gear in the pack with it's top loading design and sleeping bag compartment, while at the same time, accessing your gear is a cinch with the side access zipper on the pack. Staying hydrated is important while travelling in the backcountry and the hydration bladder compatible design helps you do just that. And when the weather moves in, and it usually does, the Lakota 80 comes with its own pack cover which stows in its own pocket on the outside. The features of the pack are nice, but what will keep you smiling mile after mile is the suspension system. Utilizing a single LightBeam aluminum stay that is stiff and light, it will keep the load centered and on your hips and off your shoulders. The dynamic AirFlow back panel and AirMesh on the shoulder straps, dual density foam waist belt, and lumbar pad will keep you cool when you are working hard. Finally, the load lifters/stabilizers, hip belt stabilizer straps, sternum straps, and Scherer Cinch waist buckle will help customize the fit and keep the load close to your center of gravity. This backpack is constructed from 420D Polyester Ball Shadow body fabric and 450D Polyester Oxford Reinforcement Fabric.
